DeMorgenzon Winery, nestled in the Stellenbosch Kloof foothills of the Bottelary Hills, is looking for an experienced cellar assistant to join our growing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Cellar hygiene and cleanliness.
- Grape intake, pressing, pumpovers, wine transfers, blending, racking etc.
- Skill in barrel work - filling, stacking, maintenance.
- SKOP courses preferential.
- Team player, with good communication skills.
- Will report to Assistant Winemaker & Head Winemaker.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
- Trustworthy, reliable and passionate.
- Ability to follow instruction, as well as working independently.
- Working harvest hours.
- Physically fit and able.
