A prestigious 5-star luxury estate in Stellenbosch is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a world-class hospitality environment, supporting the Financial Manager across a broad range of accounting and financial administration functions.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
• Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification (completed or in progress)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience with Pastel (Sage) Evolution or similar accounting software
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Hospitality, wine estate or agricultural industry experience advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Cashbook processing and reconciliations
• Debtors and creditors administration
• General ledger and journal entries
• Stock control and monthly stock takes
• Petty cash administration
• Procurement and general finance support
