A Wine farm in the Franschhoek area seeks to a employ a Junior Technician for their Motor Museum
We are looking for an honest, hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned position.
Duties include:
- Provide mechanical assistance to the workshop mechanic
- Adhere to safety standards
- Responsible for the cleanliness of workshop equipment
- Repair and replace parts as instructed
- Operation of various workshop machinery and tools
- Driver duties:
- Check vehicles before departure
- Ensure that the vehicle is clean and tidy
- Ensure that the fuel tank is full
- Adhere to the speed limit and road safety regulations at all times
- Report any vehicle faults/ maintenance and accidents as soon as possible
- Assistance during farm functions
Requirements:
- Code 10/14 driver’s license
- Mechanical skills
- Knowledge and care of equipment
- PC skills
- Polishing* (advantageous)
- Welding* (advantageous)
- Presentable
