Strandveld Vineyards is looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and service-driven individual to join our team as, Tasting Room & Guest Experience Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the tasting room.
- Deliver exceptional wine tasting and guest experiences.
- Drive direct wine sales and build customer relationships.
- Manage reservations and guest stays online and on our farm.
- Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, and cottage inspections.
- Assist with customer orders, stock control, and general administration.
- Prepare for large group tastings, meetings, and events.
Requirements
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, wine sales, guest relations, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong communication, organisational, and sales skills.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Own reliable transport.
- Passion for wine, hospitality, and exceptional service.
Please Note
This position requires regular weekend and public holiday work. Due to the seasonal nature of the business, annual leave is generally not permitted during peak periods.
