Cavalli Estate is seeking a passionate, energetic, and service-oriented Wine Steward to join our award-winning hospitality team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional wine experiences to guests through engaging tastings, outstanding customer service, and meticulous presentation of the tasting room.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for wine, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences that reflect the luxury standards of Cavalli Estate.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Wine Service

  • Welcome and engage guests upon arrival, creating a warm and professional first impression.
  • Conduct informative and engaging wine tastings.
  • Answer guest questions confidently and provide accurate information about Cavalli Estate wines and experiences.
  • Build positive relationships with guests through exceptional customer service.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Tasting Room Operations

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the tasting room.
  • Ensure wine displays and racks remain fully stocked and attractively presented.
  • Wash, polish, and maintain tasting glassware to exceptional standards.
  • Assist with stock control and stock-taking procedures.
  • Process guest payments accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with special events hosted within the tasting room.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality, wine service, tasting rooms, restaurants, or guest-facing roles will be advantageous.
  • Wine knowledge or a strong interest in learning about wine is preferred.
  • Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience will be beneficial.
