We are looking for the right fit for a Farm Manager with Agricultural Background and Experience.  Do you tick all the boxes and have what it takes to takes to manager the reigns and be part of the next phase.  Then we are looking for you. Salary R25/35k DOE.  Live in position. 

Operational Leadership
  • Direct Operations: Oversee hospitality, maintenance, guest services, and agricultural workflows.
  • Enforce SOPs: Maintain strict brand standards across all property departments.
  • Workflow Planning: Manage seasonal task scheduling and department labor needs.
  • Resource Optimization: Maximize the efficiency of property systems, infrastructure, and tools.
Agricultural Oversight
  • Crop & Livestock Care: Monitor orchard health, livestock/game, fertilization, and spraying schedules.
  • Resource Management: Manage irrigation networks, water infrastructure, and land health.
  • Infrastructure Care: Maintain boundary fencing, internal roads, and property land.
  • Asset Maintenance: Ensure proper operation and servicing of all farming machinery.
Hospitality & Guest Experience
  • Service Delivery: Guarantee premium guest experiences from arrival to departure.
  • Front Desk Oversight: Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and communication channels.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle guest complaints quickly and professionally.
  • VIP & Event Management: Coordinate logistics for VIP guests and special property events.
Maintenance & Asset Management
  • Systems Upkeep: Ensure continuous operation of solar systems, generators, water, and electricity.
  • Maintenance Programs: Direct both preventative and reactive repairs across all physical assets.
  • Contractor Relations: Supervise external service providers and third-party contractors.
  • Record Keeping: Track asset registers, equipment warranties, and service histories.
Housekeeping & Facilities
  • Standard Audits: Enforce strict cleanliness inspections for guest and staff housing.
  • Turnover Readiness: Ensure guest units are fully prepared to luxury standards.
  • Supply Logistics: Manage inventory for linen, cleaning chemicals, and guest consumables.
Financials & Procurement
  • Budget Control: Track operational expenses to meet target business performance.
  • Purchase Approval: Authorize spending aligned with company priorities.
  • Supply Chain: Negotiate supplier pricing to secure maximum procurement value.
  • Stock Audits: Oversee inventory counts to eliminate product wastage.
Human Resources
  • Team Leadership: Manage all department heads, roster schedules, and labor planning.
  • Talent Development: Lead recruitment, staff training, performance reviews, and discipline.
  • Staff Morale: Foster high productivity, clear accountability, and legal labor compliance.
Compliance & Safety
  • Risk Management: Enforce local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Emergency Readiness: Maintain functional fire, first aid, and disaster response systems.
  • Property Inspections: Run regular safety audits across all land and facilities.
