We are seeking an ambitious, customer-focused sales representative with proven experience in the sales and marketing of tangible products, preferably within the wine industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sales background and a sound understanding of wine additives, oenological products, and winery operations.

Responsibilities include promoting and selling a comprehensive range of wine additives and winemaking solutions, identifying and developing new business opportunities through market research and proactive prospecting, and building long-term relationships with wineries and existing customers.

The successful candidate will provide expert technical product advice and support throughout the winemaking process, consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, compile accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence, and deliver exceptional customer service.

This role requires a commercially driven individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for supporting customers in producing premium-quality wines.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Formal training/experience in food science, viticulture, oenology and or winemaking technology
  • Sales and marketing skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Willingness to travel (head office is based in Johannesburg)
