Our client is known for fresh local produce, chef-driven dishes, bakery items and crafted dining experiences.
We are seeking a passionate, driven, self-motivated chef with a strong culinary background and operational kitchen management skillset to manage the kitchen operations for a boutique Deli and Restaurant, located in Tulbagh. This position will work closely with the General Manager.

Core Requirements & Responsibilities:

• A formal Culinary Education
• Minimum of 3 -5 years Sous Chef experience
• Assist with menu planning, strict stock controls, stock management, stock movement, rotation and ordering and supplier liaison
• Excellent control of food cost, wastage and kitchen preparation
• Ongoing staff training and development
• Ensuring the team has high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport beneficial
