We are seeking a passionate, driven, and self-motivated leader with a strong culinary background to manage the operations for a boutique Deli and Restaurant and the F&B services at a luxurious Country House, strategically located in the picturesque valley of Tulbagh. Our client is known for fresh local produce, chef-driven dishes, bakery items and crafted dining experiences.
• Culinary & Operational Leadership: Leverage your chef background to oversee menu development, kitchen standards, and plate consistency, ensuring the food quality remains the hallmark of our client’s reputation
• Marketing & Brand Growth: Work together with the Managing Director to drive the promotion of both venues through creative marketing, social media presence
• Proactive Management: Take the initiative to identify growth opportunities, refine operational workflows, and lead the team with passion
• Event Coordination: Oversee the full lifecycle of events, from creative planning and precise costing to hands-on execution
• Financial & Payroll Control: Manage procurement, menu costing, and execute data-driven rostering that aligns staffing levels with business volume to strictly control payroll costs
• Food Safety & Compliance: Maintain uncompromising standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation in accordance with all South African health and safety regulations
