Delheim Wines is seeking an experienced, passionate, results-driven and hands on Wine Sales Developer Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with an established network in the wine industry and a passion for building lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales across existing and new trade channels.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the on- and off-consumption trade.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, retailers, restaurants and hospitality partners.
- Manage a structured sales pipeline using the company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to identify, track and convert opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits, wine tastings and product presentations as required.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the Delheim Wines brand.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Represent Delheim Wines professionally at trade events, exhibitions and promotional activities.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years experience in the wine industry.
- Proven wine sales experience with an established network of trade relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and open new sales channels.
- Experience using a CRM system to manage customer relationships and sales opportunities.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Passion for wine and strong product knowledge.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
- Willingness to travel and spend time away from home when required.
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
