Delheim Wines is seeking an experienced, passionate, results-driven and hands on Wine Sales Developer Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with an established network in the wine industry and a passion for building lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales across existing and new trade channels.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the on- and off-consumption trade.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, retailers, restaurants and hospitality partners.
  • Manage a structured sales pipeline using the company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to identify, track and convert opportunities.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, wine tastings and product presentations as required.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the Delheim Wines brand.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Represent Delheim Wines professionally at trade events, exhibitions and promotional activities.

 Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in the wine industry.
  • Proven wine sales experience with an established network of trade relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and open new sales channels.
  • Experience using a CRM system to manage customer relationships and sales opportunities.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Passion for wine and strong product knowledge.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
  • Willingness to travel and spend time away from home when required.
  • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
