The Commercial Accountant is responsible for managing and coordinating all accounts receivable, export financial processes, and key customer relationships to ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, compliant export reporting, and reliable financial data for decisionmaking. The role supports commercial, operational, and executive teams through financial analysis, reporting, cashflow management, and system integration across Xero, Palbroker, and Power BI, while ensuring regulatory compliance in South Africa and Namibia.

QUALIFICATIONS:
BAcc Bachelors Degree / Diploma
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
- Good inter-personal skills with a proven ability to build relationships;
- Strong administrative and time management skills;
- Ability to take inititiative;
- Ability to multitask;
- Good computer skills (MS Office, Office 365 Outlook, Excel and Xero, Power BI);
- Good attention to detail, well organized and structured;
- Self-motivated;
- Ability to work independently;
- Ability to work under pressure within time constraints;
- Hardworking.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
- Understand export industry and the importance of information for all related parties;
- Proven previous experience in the fruit industry;
- Financial experience;
- Knowledge of Xero will be advantageous
