Some people sell wine. Others create communities of loyal followers who eagerly await every new release, every exclusive event, and every opportunity to reconnect with a brand they love.

We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded DTC Wine Club Manager to lead and grow our direct-to-consumer business. This is far more than managing a wine club, it's about creating an exceptional customer journey that transforms first-time buyers into lifelong brand supporters. Working with one of the Cape Winelands' premium wine brands, you'll shape the customer experience across every touchpoint, using creativity, data, technology and genuine relationship-building to drive sustainable growth in both local and international markets. You'll have the freedom to bring new ideas to life, work with a passionate team and play a meaningful role in building one of the industry's most engaged wine communities.

You'll take ownership of the direct-to-consumer strategy by:

• Growing the Wine Club through innovative acquisition, retention and member engagement initiatives.
• Developing compelling digital campaigns and personalized customer journeys that increase loyalty and lifetime value.
• Building authentic relationships with our most valued customers through exceptional service and meaningful communication.
• Using customer insights, CRM data and purchasing behavior to identify opportunities and optimize performance.
• Collaborating with the tasting room to create unforgettable brand experiences & events.
• Driving DTC sales performance while continually seeking new opportunities to grow revenue.
• Managing Commerce7 (or similar CRM and Wine Club platforms), ensuring customer information is accurate, insightful and actionable.
• Maintaining high operational standards across stock control, merchandising and customer fulfilment.
This position will suit a dynamic, yet customer focused, professional who is equally comfortable analyzing customer data as you are hosting loyal members at an exclusive release event.

The following attributes & experience will be advantageous:

• A genuine passion for wine and the stories behind great brands.
• Proven success in direct-to-consumer sales, wine clubs, hospitality or premium client relationship management.
• Strong commercial instincts with a track record of growing sales and customer loyalty or the willingness to develop in this field
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Commerce7 or similar Wine Club, CRM or POS platforms.
• Confidence working with data to improve customer engagement and commercial performance.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
