We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our wine farm. The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a wine production environment and will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, stock control, label management, and ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production and bottling operations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage stock levels of wine, dry goods, labels, packaging, and production materials.
- Oversee label control and packaging accuracy.
- Monitor inventory movements and conduct regular stock counts.
- Coordinate production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain production records and prepare reports.
- Ensure quality standards, food safety, and health and safety procedures are followed.
- Supervise and lead production staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a wine production or cellar environment.
- Sound knowledge of SAWIS processes and compliance.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and production or inventory systems).
- Experience with stock control, inventory management, labels, and production documentation.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, particularly during harvest and bottling periods.
- Valid forklift licence will be advantageous.
