POSITION: JUNIOR FARM MANAGER
LOCATION: Stellenbosch (Helderberg region)
JOB TYPE: On site, full time with a three-month probation
Junior Farm Assistant to join our Winery. If you are passionate about farming and winemaking, would like to gain experience in farming and wine making and would enjoy working with a small team of workers, then this position is for you.
Key responsibilities:
Management of farm workers, including duties and timesheets
Vineyard application of cover crops, pesticides, etc
Cellar tasks under guidance of Winemaker
WIETA, IPW, PAPA logs
Maintenance of farm buildings, tractors, equipment, etc.
Security
Farm administrative tasks such as diesel and electricity logs.
Requirements:
Grade 12, preferably with agricultural subjects.
Mechanically orientated (advantageous)
Driver’s license with PDP (advantageous)
Salary + accommodation (negotiable, depending on experience)
Language: Afrikaans speaking as 1st language
