A well-established wine distribution company is seeking an experienced Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Stellenbosch. This is a full-time, on-site role. While the position includes international export duties, the primary focus is managing domestic South African logistics, warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient stock movement within the country.
Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape (On-site / Non-remote)
Experience: Minimum 5 years (Wine industry experience highly preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day domestic logistics, coordinating the movement of stock to and between South African warehouses.
• Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock reconciliation to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Process and coordinate international wine export orders, including the preparation of export documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with local transport regulations and industry regulatory bodies (such as SAWIS).
• Liaise closely with local transport providers, freight forwarders, and warehouse staff to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain coordination.
• Prior experience within the South African wine or liquor industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in domestic stock movement, warehouse management, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with export administration, INCOTERMS, and wine systems (e.g., Wine Online).
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work on-site daily in Stellenbosch.
