Dornier Wine Lounge is seeking a passionate, service-driven, and professional individual to join our team on a part-time casual basis. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in wine, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Located in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Dornier Wine Lounge offers guests a welcoming and memorable environment to enjoy our award-winning wines. We are looking for a team member who shares our commitment to excellence and outstanding customer service.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in the wine industry, wine tasting room environment, or hospitality sector is essential.
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and throughout peak seasonal periods.
- Availability to work at least one shift during the week.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
- A strong team player who is reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
- Knowledge of wine and wine service will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
- Conduct wine tastings and provide guests with information about our wines and estate.
- Assist with daily Wine Lounge operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the venue.
- Process guest transactions and reservations when required.
- Support the team during busy periods, special events, and seasonal peak times.
