Môreson Wine Farm, home of Miss Molly Bubbly, in Franschhoek is looking for an enthusiastic Cellar Hand to join our team for Harvest 2027!

You will be involved in:

  • Grape sampling, reception and processing
  • Fermentation monitoring and wine additions
  • Pressing, racking and wine movements
  • Tank and barrel work
  • Cellar hygiene and equipment sanitation
  • Laboratory analysis and sensory evaluation
  • General harvest and cellar duties

More than just harvest

At Môreson, you’ll get hands-on exposure to Cap Classique production, giving you the opportunity to learn about the unique processes involved in making traditional-method sparkling wine.

The position will run during January and February 2027, if you would also like exposure to white and red wine production, you are welcome to arrange your own placement at another cellar during the same vintage.

Starting with our team in December 2026 is advantageous, giving you time to settle in, get to know the cellar and prepare for the early start to Harvest 2027.

We’re looking for students who are:

  • Currently studying Viticulture & Oenology or a related field
  • Hardworking, energetic and keen to learn
  • Flexible and prepared to work extended hours, including weekends, when required
  • Team players with a good eye for detail
  • Physically fit and ready for the demands of harvest
  • In possession of a valid driver’s license

Previous cellar experience is great, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn count for a lot!
