Winemaker

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the winemaking process from harvest inrougn to bottling
• Monitor fermentation, maturation, blending and wine quality
• Manage cellar operations, hygiene and stock control
• Maintain accurate winemaking and production records
• Corainate laboratory analysis and quality control
• Assist with harvest planning and grape intake
• Manage compliance and relevant wine-industry documentation
• Work with management on new wines, styles and product development

Ideal candidate: 

•Relevant winemaking qualification and/or strong practical experience
•Previous winery or cellar experience
•Excellent attention to detail
•Good knowledge of South African wine production and compliance
•Ability to work independently and take ownership of the cellar
•Practical, hands-on approach and Willingness to be part of a growing business
