Our client in Citrusdal is looking for a Admin Support Manager.

Purpose of the Job:
The Admin Support Manager will oversee the administration of a production business unit, ensuring accurate processes, HR, finance and operational support while working closely with the Head Office and production team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Support & Communication
Support the Production Unit Manager and farm managers.
Provide relevant, timely information for decision-making.
Liaise between Head Office and the operational production unit.
Manage a small administration team.

2. Finance & Operational Administration
Capture and report on crop production activities, including irrigation and crop applications.
Meet weekly/monthly operational deadlines.
Manage inventory such as diesel, chemicals and fertilisers.
Oversee creditors’ processes.
Monitor expenditure against budget.
Record and report infrastructure, fleet, housing repairs and maintenance requirements.

3. Wages & HR Administration
Manage accurate timekeeping and attendance records.
Handle employee onboarding, contracts and induction.
Maintain accurate employee information on the system.
Manage the Health & Safety system and compliance.
Assist with ethical, environmental and food-safety audit compliance.
Organise and attend worker and H&S committee meetings.
Coordinate training, disciplinary processes and community development activities.

Requirements & Competencies
Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Finance or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience with payroll and financial systems.
Strong data capturing, processing and reporting skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Agricultural experience would be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate
The strongest candidate would have a combination of HR administration + finance + payroll + operational administration, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a production/agricultural environment.
