My name is Pumelela Sityata, and I’m a Tourism & Hospitality graduate currently based in Jonkershoek, Stellenbosch.
I’m reaching out because I’m passionate about building my career in the hospitality and wine industry, particularly in Front of House and guest-facing roles. Living in Stellenbosch and being surrounded by such a strong wine and hospitality culture has made me appreciate the industry even more and has inspired me to pursue a career where I can continue learning, growing and working with people.
I have practical experience across Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and events. Through my experience, I’ve developed skills in guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, handling guest enquiries, table service, food and beverage service, and creating positive guest experiences.
I’m currently unemployed and actively looking for an opportunity where I can grow my experience, with a particular interest in Front of House, waitressing, guest relations and other guest-facing hospitality roles.
Hospitality means a lot to me because I genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome. I value good communication, teamwork, respect, reliability and giving every guest an experience that makes them feel cared for. I’m eager to learn from experienced people in the industry and develop myself both personally and professionally.
