I am Ziyanda Kupiso, a passionate and hands-on wine professional based in Paarl, Western Cape.
After 5+ years working in production cellars including DGB and KWV, I am looking for my next growth opportunity as an Assistant Winemaker in a boutique estate.
What I bring to the cellar:
✓ Grape intake, crushing, fermentation management & monitoring (open-top fermenters)
✓ Punch-downs, pump-overs, temp & Balling control
✓ Barrel management - filling, topping, racking, sanitation & stock control
✓ Racking, blending & preparation for bottling (mobile bottling experience)
✓ SO2 management & lab coordination (Vinlab)
✓ SAWIS administration, production records, traceability
✓ Dry-goods, finished product & warehouse stock management
✓ Vineyard sampling & harvest coordination
✓ Cellar hygiene, health & safety, and general maintenance
✓ Computer literate | Valid driver's license
I am hard-working, humble, adaptable, and willing to work extended hours during harvest. I love being part of a small, close-knit team where everyone does everything.
