Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Assistant Floor Manager to join the team at a prestigious luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to grow within the hospitality industry, supporting the smooth operation of front-of-house services and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Package & Benefits
- Salary: R6 000 – R8 000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
- Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
- Live-out position (own transport and valid driver's licence required)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Floor Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house operations
- Support staff in delivering seamless guest service across dining and event spaces
- Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and ensure smooth table management
- Monitor service standards and assist in training junior staff
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Contribute to the coordination of special events and functions
- Provide hands-on support to the team, ensuring efficiency and professionalism at all times
Minimum Requirements
- Previous hospitality experience in a supervisory or team support role (luxury environment advantageous)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach
- Organisational ability and attention to detail in managing front-of-house tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Professional presentation and commitment to delivering high service standards
