We need an onsite Financial Manager to run the money and accounting tasks for our wine distribution company based in Stellenbosch. You will handle daily financial tasks, manage cash flow, and ensure we follow tax and industry rules. You will also track inventory costs, shipping expenses, and supplier accounts.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Make monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.

Cash Flow Management: Track money coming in and going out to keep the business stable.

Cost and Pricing Control: Analyze the cost of buying, storing, and shipping wine. Help set prices to protect profit margins.

Inventory Accounting: Work with the warehouse team to audit stock and track inventory value.

Budgeting: Help company leaders create annual budgets and track spending.

Compliance: Handle local taxes, excise duties, and alcohol-related licensing fees.
Requirements

Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in food, beverage, or wholesale distribution.

Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of stock valuation, logistics costs, and supply chain finance.

Location: Must be able to work onsite full-time at our office in Stellenbosch.
