Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious F&B property in Franschhoek.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident hospitality professional who has a strong understanding of restaurant operations and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Ensure consistently high standards of service, food quality and guest satisfaction
• Lead, motivate and manage the restaurant team
• Manage staff scheduling, training and performance
• Maintain strong operational and service standards throughout the restaurant
• Handle guest queries and ensure any concerns are resolved professionally
• Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service
• Monitor stock, wastage and operational costs
• Assist with maintaining effective systems and procedures within the restaurant
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards
• Contribute to creating a welcoming, professional and memorable guest experience

requirements

• Previous experience in a Restaurant Manager or senior restaurant management position
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and front-of-house service
• Excellent leadership and people-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• A hands-on and proactive approach to management
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
• Experience within an upmarket restaurant, luxury hospitality environment or similar property would be advantageous
