The Opportunity

Warwick Wine Estate is appointing Seasonal Scullers / Kitchen Assistants for the summer season, from October 2026 to April 2027. The role sits within the Hospitality department and holds the hygiene and cleanliness standard across both front-of-house and back-of-house areas. It covers dishwashing and glassware, general cleaning, restocking kitchen supplies and the care of kitchen equipment, working alongside the kitchen team through service.

What You'll Do

  • Hygiene & Cleaning Standards
    • Performing general cleaning duties so that the hospitality and kitchen areas remain clean, neat and tidy throughout service, including sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Dishwashing & Glassware
    • Washing and drying dishes, crockery, cutlery and glassware to the established standard, and keeping the wash-up area orderly during busy periods.
  • Kitchen Supplies & Stock
    • Refilling kitchen supplies as daily operations require, and reporting supply needs to the Sous Chef in good time.
  • Equipment & Appliance Care
    • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen machinery and appliances, and reporting breakages, faults or hazards immediately.
  • Kitchen Support
    • Assisting the kitchen team with other duties as required to support the overall operation, including during special events, private tastings and group bookings.

Who You Are & What You’ll Need

  • Grade 10 or equivalent.
  • One to two years' experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Honest, hardworking, dependable and reliable.
  • Good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Sound time management, with keen attention to detail.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Own transport, or own arrangements to travel to and from the estate for shifts ending after public transport hours.
