Seasonal - Wine Ambassadors

Join the front-of-house team for the upcoming season at Hartenberg wine estate. We aim to give our guests excellent service and a professional wine experience - and we need wine ambassadors to make it happen.

The Role

As a Tasting Room Ambassador, you'll own the full guest experience for presenting wine tastings. You'll be the face of the guest's visit: attentive, knowledgeable, and comfortable running a busy section during peak service.

What You'll Do

• Manage all table service for your assigned section — seating, orders, food service, and general guest care
• Guide guests through wine tastings, sharing knowledge of the wines and estate
• Handle bottle and glass wine orders for tables, as well as promoting Hartenberg wines, and selling of wines. 
• Set up and clean before opening — tables, glassware, and stock ready for service
• Keep the tasting room area clean and presentable throughout the shift
• Close down and clean your at the end of the day — clearing, resetting, and restocking for the next shift

What We're Looking For

• Own transport essential
• Previous experience in the wine/hospitality industry essential
• Wine knowledge essential/WSET1 or 2 a big advantage.
• Experience with point of sale (POS) systems essential
• Strong communication skills
• Available to work shifts in the week, including public holidays, weekends.
• Full availability required and as per your shifts, except for Christmas Day and New Years Day.
• Well presented, and able to represent Hartenberg wines.
• A genuine interest in hospitality and guest experience
