Experienced wine sales and business development professional based in Stellenbosch, seeking opportunities within the South African wine industry, particularly in wine sales, territory sales, business development, key accounts, wine tourism or customer-facing commercial roles.
I bring more than five years of hands-on experience in the Stellenbosch wine and hospitality environment, with experience at The House of JC Le Roux, Clos Malverne Winery and Le Pommier Wine Estate. My experience includes guided wine tastings, product presentation, wine recommendations, wine and food pairing, customer service, retail sales and engaging with local and international visitors.
At The House of JC Le Roux, I contributed to a 30% increase in wine sales through product knowledge, customer engagement and wine recommendations. At Le Pommier Wine Estate, I supported tasting-room operations, customer experiences and promotional activities, contributing to growth in wine club membership and visitor traffic.
My wine knowledge is supported by a WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, achieved with Pass with Merit, and the South African Wine Course through Cape Wine Academy. I also hold a BBA in Marketing Management and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, with additional professional experience in business development, B2B sales, prospecting, CRM management, customer acquisition and marketing analytics.
I am particularly interested in opportunities where I can combine wine knowledge with commercial sales and relationship management, including developing new accounts, growing existing customers, representing wine portfolios, conducting tastings and supporting wine events and promotional activities.
