Assistant Tasting Room Manager

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on assistant tasting room manager to support the day-to-day operations of a busy wine estate tasting room. You will work closely with the tasting room manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth operations, strong team performance and achievement of sales targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the daily operations of the tasting room, including opening and closing procedures.
• Deliver memorable wine tastings and provide outstanding customer service.
• Supervise and support the tasting room team, including training and performance guidance.
• Assist with stock control, cash-ups, inventory management, and maintaining accurate records.
• Support wine club administration, direct wine sales, group bookings, and vip guest experiences.
• Ensure the tasting room is presented to the highest standards and complies with quality and food safety requirements.
• Assist with events, marketing initiatives, social media content, and customer enquiries via email and phone.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for wine, hospitality, sales and team leadership in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years wine industry experience
• WSET level 2
• Supervisory experience
• Wine retail experience
