Brand Manager (Western Cape Trade): Waterford Estate

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Waterford Estate is looking for an energetic, hardworking, and forward-thinking on- and off-consumption (Hospitality Industry – Restaurants, Hotels, Clubs, etc.) Brand Manager for Cape Town and surrounding areas. The Brand Manager will report to the National Sales Manager and be expected to work within the trade, managing client relationships and sales. The successful candidate will be tasked with wine brand management responsibilities, which will include, but not be limited to:

• Client and area development
• Planning sales calls and routes, and servicing cycles to meet with customers and promote products
• Customer Relationship Management
• Monitoring and Analysing sales performance
• Report on results of campaigns and incentive programs and all other duties related to the role

SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Passion for wineand sales
• Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification will be to the candidate's advantage
• Experience in wine sales in the on- and off-consumption market or similar
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Establishing and maintaining exceptional customer relationships
• Performance-driven, with outstanding people skills and the ability to communicate on all business levels
• Excellent knowledge of wine and the ability to convey it
• Proven track record in meeting customer growth and sales targets
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Driver’s license and own reliable transport
• Must be able to work flexible working hours
