A private family residing in Klapmuts, is seeking a highly capable, trustworthy and experienced Butler / Household Assistant to support the family with the smooth, efficient and professional running of their home.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is organised, mature, proactive, discreet and service-oriented, with the ability to confidently manage a variety of household, family and logistical responsibilities.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of the household and must be comfortable working independently, anticipating the family’s needs and maintaining a consistently high standard of service.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a private household, luxury hospitality, butler, estate, lodge, hotel or family assistant environment.
Valid South African driver’s licence.
Clean driving record.
Strong and confident driving ability.
Previous experience transporting children would be advantageous.
Good cooking and meal-preparation skills.
Excellent organisational and household management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The position combines household assistance, family support, driving and meal preparation, including:
Butler and general household support
Driving children to and from school and sporting activities
Running household errands and grocery shopping
Preparing fresh, healthy and enjoyable family meals
Assisting with the daily organisation of the household
Helping ensure the smooth and efficient running of the home
Assisting the family with ad-hoc household and logistical requirements
Maintaining a professional, discreet and respectful approach at all times
