Lourensford Seasonal Winemaking Assistants for 2027

Lourensford Wine Estate in beautiful Somerset West is looking for dynamic and energetic Seasonal Winemaking Assistants for the 2027 harvest starting from 11 January 2027.

Successful candidates will be involved in all aspects of production. 

Contracts are minimum 3 months and up to 18 months.  

Requirements:

• Passion for winemaking and willing to contribute on all levels of the winemaking process.
• Willingness to learn and follow work orders and instructions.  
• Previous harvest experience or qualification in winemaking will count in your favour.
• Own transport and accommodation.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to work hard and long hours and over weekends.
• Must be able to work under pressure and in a team.
• Eager to learn and equip yourself as a young winemaker.
