Alvi’s Drift Private Cellar invites applications for our 2027 Harvest Internship - an opportunity for passionate, skilled cellar hands to work alongside an experienced winemaking team at one of South Africa’s most awarded family-owned estates.
We are specifically looking for candidates with solid prior harvest experience and a formal qualification in Oenology, Viticulture, or a related field.
Applicants with international harvest experience will receive strong preference.
Location: Breede River Valley, Worcester, Western Cape
Duration: February – April 2027
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one completed harvest (international experience highly advantageous)
- Tertiary qualification in Oenology, Viticulture, or a related field
- Physically fit, hardworking, and reliable
- Able to work long, flexible hours
- Valid driver’s license
