Cellar Intern and Harvest Intern - Durbanville

We’re looking for a motivated and hardworking Cellar Intern and Harvest Intern to join our winemaking team during the upcoming harvest season.

 Requirements:

• Senior Certificate and Qualification or Studies in either Winemaking, Viticulture or related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years cellar and vineyard working experience.
• Committed to work flexible and extended hours during the harvest and peak season.
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on approach in the cellar and vineyards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
• Own reliable vehicle to & from the workplace (no accommodation provided).
• Hardworking and able to work part of a team.
• Fluent in English with good communication skills.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Actively involved in various day-to-day cellar and vineyard activities.  
• Actively involved in the day-to-day harvesting season.
• Providing firm support to the cellar & vineyard departments.
• Cellar housekeeping, sanitation and cleaning of equipment.
• Harvest records and cellar administration.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene regulations in work areas.
• Any other general duties as requested by Management.
