Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join a prestigious luxury hotel in Franschhoek.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with strong technical skills and experience maintaining swimming pools and related equipment.
The Role
Maintain and service swimming pools to ensure they remain clean, safe and in excellent condition.
Monitor and maintain pool filtration, pumps, chlorination and other related equipment.
Conduct regular water testing, ensuring appropriate chemical levels are maintained.
Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults, arranging or carrying out necessary repairs.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance to minimise equipment breakdowns.
Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance and chemical usage, and assist with general maintenance duties when required.
About You
Previous experience in a pool maintenance or technical role, preferably within a hotel, lodge or luxury hospitality environment.
Good knowledge of pool pumps, filtration systems and water treatment, with strong practical and troubleshooting skills.
Reliable, responsible and able to work independently.
Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards.
Able to work flexible hours when required.
A valid driver's licence would be advantageous.
Package
Salary: R12,000 – R13,000 per month.
