James Recruitment Services is recruiting an experienced and passionate Sommelier for an established, upmarket restaurant in Sandton.
We are looking for a knowledgeable wine professional who thrives in a fine-dining environment, has a genuine passion for wine and can deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 wine/sommelier qualification
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Sommelier in an upmarket or fine-dining establishment
- Extensive wine knowledge, including food and wine pairing
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
- Professional presentation and strong service standards
- Ability to work confidently in a busy, high-end restaurant environment
