Tasting Gallery Ambassador - 6 month contract

Avondale Wine Estate, a pioneering organic and biodynamic wine farm in Paarl, is seeking a passionate, professional and service-oriented Tasting Gallery Ambassador to join our hospitality team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

As an ambassador for Avondale, you will create memorable guest experiences through wine tastings, cellar tours and Ochra coffee experiences, while actively promoting sales across our wine and hospitality offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Host engaging wine tastings and cellar tours.

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences in the Tasting Gallery and Ochra coffee space.

• Promote and drive sales of wine, wine club memberships, restaurant experiences, picnics and coffee.

• Assist with daily operations, including set-up, cleaning, stock control and administration.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A confident, professional and guest-focused approach.

• Ability to engage with local and international clientele.

• Strong organisational skills and a neat, presentable appearance.

• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and rostered weekdays as required.

Working Hours

• Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: 08h00–16h00.

• Weekdays: 08h00–17h00, rostered as required.

Contract Period: Six-month fixed-term contract.
