We’re looking for a cheerful, helpful, and enthusiastic Marketing & Sales Assistant to join our team on the farm at DeMorgenzon. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and organised, with a passion for marketing, social media, and storytelling.
This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to play an important role in growing the brand, building relationships with our wine club members and sharing the story of everything happening on the farm.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Create engaging content across our social media platforms.
- Capture and share the day-to-day life, people, experiences, and activities on the farm.
- Manage regular posting, resharing, and community engagement.
- Respond to comments and direct messages in a friendly and professional manner.
- Identify and evaluate relevant trends and opportunities.
- Manage social media advertising, boosted posts and campaigns.
- Assist with developing and maintaining an annual brand and content calendar.
- Website & Online Shop
- Maintain the functionality, content, and overall look and feel of the website and online shop, with support from our web design company.
- Ensure all online content remains consistent with our brand image.
- Maintain and update the website and product information using WordPress.
- Email Marketing & Wine Club
- Manage newsletters and wine club communications using Mailchimp.
- Develop and implement email marketing strategies to support sales.
- Prepare marketing and campaign reports.
- Assist with the administration and relationship management of wine club members.
- Grow and maintain the customer and wine club database.
- Capture consumer information and feedback from functions for the database.
- Events, Tourism & Administration
- Assist with Street Soiree marketing and administration.
- Assist with sales administration and function coordination.
- Help manage enquiries, follow-ups and general function administration.
- Support the team in creating memorable experiences for visitors and guests.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Media, Public Relations or a related field.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
- Practical experience in content creation and social media management.
- Working knowledge of WordPress.
- Experience with Mailchimp and email marketing.
- Good organisational, communication, and administrative skills.
- A valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, and be based on the farm.
- Experience with Canva and previous experience in marketing, hospitality, wine or tourism will be advantageous.
