Our Client in Stellenbosch area is seeking to employ an Experienced Restaurant Manager that is Meticulous, Driven and wants to grow with the company. 


The Restaurant manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.


Your key responsibilities will include:

Co-ordinating and managing the restaurant’s daily flow

Strong business sense and financial acumen to implement financial controls to ensure profitability

To monitor and manage service levels to ensure continued service excellence

To assist with staff development

Planning and controlling the day-to-day operations of the restaurant  including inventory levels, daily training, maintenance issues and staff scheduling

To plan, coordinate and execute events as per agreed company standards

Determine and implement service excellence standards and monitor & evaluate outcome

Assist in ensuring compliance with all licensing, hygiene and health and safety regulations.

Stock control, stock take and following up on deviations

Daily Cash ups, administrative duties, orders, guest / supplier liaison, cleaning & training checklists.

Minimum requirements:

A recognised 3-year Hospitality Qualification  (an advantage)

At least 3-years’ experience in working in a top end, focused and driven environment .

Experience in assisting in managing a highly motivated team and assist in running daily department briefings.

Cape Wine Academy or WSET experience (an advantage)

Willing and able to work flexible working hours in line with hospitality industry practices,

including weekends and public holidays

Great multi-tasking skills

Good communication skills on all levels

Able to work systematically and accurately

Good relationship building and liaison skills with suppliers

Must be able to give clear, concise and accurate information and tasks to team members


Our client offers a competitive remuneration package between R12 000 and R14 000

Availability: Immediately

Must have own reliable transport with a valid drivers licence
