A boutique winery in Paarl is seeking to employ a motivated, dynamic and competent Chef. This is a semi-permanent position and commencement date is as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include:  Preparation of picnics in summer and platters during the year, other events, food planning and ordering of stock, restaurant invoices recon, shopping, stock take and maintaining clean work area. Open-minded towards designing new menus and innovation.

Experience in a similar position is required.  The person needs to be fully proficient in English, willing to work weekends and public holidays.

This person needs to be passionate and interested in wine and food. We need a person that is organised, motivated, have good communication skills, attention to detail, take initiative and work well in a team. The person must be mature with an energetic personality.

Own transport is essential and preference given to someone living in Paarl or surrounding areas.

Remuneration is market related but also depended on previous experience.
