Salary:            R15 000 – R18 000 p/m negotiable on experience (pension benefits)

 Requirements, skills and experience

  • Suitable qualification in communication
  • 3-4 Years working exp as a Social media manager
  • Sound exp in content management
  • MS Office: Word/ PowerPoint & WordPress exp
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Good organisational & time management skills
  • Able to deliver creative content (text, image & video)
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiar with design
  • Strong communication skills on all levels

 

Duties

 

  • Do research on benchmark trends & audience preferences
  • Design& implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives & report on ROI
  • Generate, edit, publish & share content daily (e.g. photos, text, videos & news)
  • Liaise with marketing & retails teams
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries & monitor customer reviews on various platforms
  • Implement new features to develop brand awareness like competitions & promotions
  • Stay updated with current technology, social media trends, design tools & applications
  • Manage social media advertising: Facebook, Twitter & Instagram ads etc.
  • Manage content across platforms incl. emails & social media
  • Increase social media following
  • Track web analytics to determine content engagement levels
  • Create a regular publishing schedule for the blog
  • Use best suited tools to manage content
