Well-known wine estate, situated in the Stellenbosch region, requires a hardworking, enthusiastic, admin-driven individual to join our team.

Only apply if you have a certified diploma in cooking.

The ideal candidates should be a self-starter, fluent in English with a good command of Afrikaans, well-spoken, passionate about food & wine, have excellent interpersonal skill and enjoy working independently as well as with a team. The ideal candidate must be very well-organised, have a great telephone manner and be able to work under extreme pressure and be able to manage a busy kitchen.

Own reliable transport essential.


Menu execution in-line with the standards already set by Head chef

Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes

Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

Sound knowledge of best cooking practices

Tertiary Culinary Qualification a prerequisite

*Bread baking and pastry skills will be in candidate’s favour.

 This is a daytime restaurant with fantastic working hours in a fun and upbeat environment.

 This is a sought after position as we are not open evenings with breakfast and lunch offerings only! Two days off every week in winter and season.

General working hours will be from 7:30 – 17:00.

 The right candidate must have his/her own transport, good communication skills, contactable references, sober habits and experience in a similar position.
