Columbit Industries would like to appoint a self-motivated and responsible individual to the above-mentioned position at its branch in Kensington, Cape Town in the Western Province.

The incumbent will report to the Commercial Manager – Consumables, and will be responsible for the following key areas:

  1. Sales Administration
  • Manage all incoming orders.
  • Determine prices for quotations.
  • Assist with the annual budget
  1. Procurement
  • Analyse inventory.
  • Liaise with representatives on stock levels.
  • Authorise the preparation and execution of indents for wirehoods and bottles.
  • Manage the supply of capsules.
  • Determine minimum and maximum stock levels.
  • Ensure that all orders received are submitted timeously to the Vinicap Planner at Colpak.

 

  1. Customer Sales Support and Reports
  • Attend sales meetings.
  • Provide telephonic customer support.
  • Attend supplier meetings at Key Account customers.
  • Obtain and capture all the necessary information for customer complaints into the official complaints form, and submit to the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Attend to customer complaints timeously.
  • Provide administrative support to sales representatives.
  • Ensure that customers and representatives are updated on any production delivery date changes as and when this happens.

 

  1. Supplier Liaison
  • Liaise between customer and supplier (Colpak).
  • Handle returns of rejected stock from customers and if necessary, process credits and/or ensure that stock is replaced.
  • Co-ordinate customer visits and audits.

 

  1. Quality Management
  • Conform to Quality Management documentation.
  • Assist in auditing the Quality Management System.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar industry
  • A relevant qualification with financial acumen or administrative office management qualification.
  • Computer literacy (Financial system, MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Client communication skills
  • Fully Bilingual
