Store and Stock Management. Work together with the Winemaker to manage required wine stock

for bottling and labelling. Clear communication between winemaker and production team.

SUMMARY OF JOB CONTENT:

General administration

Controlling and administrating all bottlings and labelling in the cellar

All bulk, labelled and unlabelled stock management

Ensure smooth operation of packaging processes

SPECIFIC TASKS:

Responsible for the control and management of wine stock

Responsible for preparation of SAWIS documentation. KC6, KC5, BG11 and WSB records

Oversee the certification of labelled wine

Oversee packing of export and national orders, documentation and loading.

Responsible for all production stock and ordering – includes liaising with suppliers to ensure timeous

deliveries and best prices.

Product development

Assist winemaker with cellar budget management and implementation if needed.

Oversee and manage stock warehouse

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION:

General office administration i.e. filing, data capturing etc.

Stock control from unlabelled to labelled wine

Keep record of stock in WineMs

All SAWIS documentation according to regulations

Forecast stock demand and order products for production

Generate a flexible packaging schedule

Ensure WIneMS and Data integrity

Costings of bulk, unlabelled and labelled wines

Storage Management

Personalising WineMs to suit Delheim’s needs

Any other related task given by Management

SALES ASSISTANCE:

Cost forecast for production budget

Generate sales stats from WineMs to control stock

Provide support in sale of bulk wine.

GENERAL – STOCK CONTROL:

Do a comprehensive stock count at the end of each month and compare with WineMS

Do stock counts on a daily basis

All movements of wine must be entered into computer

Reconsolidate delivery notes and invoices

Weekly stock report

SAWIS month end to be done by the 5th of each month

Quality control of products

Day to day administration and supervising of packaging team.

GENERAL – DISTRIBUTION OF WINE:

Oversee the handling and preparation of all orders

Oversee all cellar transfers and wine stock movements

Oversee dispatch of all orders with the Logistics Administrator

SUPERVISING:

Supervise packaging employees

Supervise Logistics Administrator

Report to Financial Manager

Matric or equivalent qualification
