Tasting Room Manager's assistant and front of house co-ordinator - market related with incentives

We are looking for a Tasting Room Manager's Assistant. The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for:

  • Meet and greet guests on arrival and conduct wine tastings.
  • Assist the tasting room manager with day to day operations in the Tasting Room.
  • Assist the tasting room manager to manage the tasting room staff,serving staff and co-ordinate where ever necessary
  • Cash-up, when tasting room manager is on leave
  • Stock take, weekly monthly and replenishing of stock
  • Participate in staff training and wine education as and when required by tasting room manager
  • Conduct offsite pourings, tastings and events as and when required.
  • Admin and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Hospitality Manager


  • Fully Bilingual in Afrikaans and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and a willingness to co-ordinate and support hospitality functions
  • Computer literacy, Excel, Word, Email, 
  • Previous Tasting Room experience is a must.
  • Owning a reliable transport
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends and Public Holidays.
