Bosman Family Vineyards, situated in Wellington, invites a driven professional with excellent commercial competence and business acumen to perform the role of Senior Sales Manager and take overall responsibility of managing all aspects of the national and international Sales Market Strategy.

 Responsibilities will include the following:-

  • Develop a competitive national and international Sales Market Strategy which captures business building opportunities within the on and off trade sector
  • Grow brand awareness, volume and market share at the lowest possible cost
  • Drive the implementation of defined sales strategy and initiatives by continually enhancing professional expertise
  • Grow market share and continuously explore new market opportunities
  • Improve business effectiveness and resources management
  • Successfully engage internal and external business networks
  • Achievement of performance goals in order to gain shareholders trust
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and make meaningful recommendations to shareholders
  • Drive monthly and quarterly business processes to meet targets
  • Provide timely reporting and analysis that relates to budget and Sales Market Strategy reviews

 We are looking for candidates that have the following qualities:

  • Proven negotiation skills
  • A strong understanding of brands and branding
  • A strong understanding of the global wine industry
  • The ability to motivate and inspire others towards achieving goals under challenging market circumstances
  • Strong communication, relationship marketing and networking skills within the global wine industry
  • A thorough understanding of financial concepts, value chains and data analysis
  • Unquestionable integrity

 Minimum requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification – Sales Management and/or BCom
  • Good Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Minimum 13 years sales management experience in the wine industry with preferably WSET level 3 diploma
  • A proven track record in managing a sales team nationally and internationally
