We are an internationally owned leading wine producer and exporter located on one of the most popular wine routes in Stellenbosch. More than 80% of our wines are exported to over 39 countries worldwide.  We offer a diverse wine range providing a special wine to wine-lovers across the globe.

We are expanding our team of dynamic, savvy and focused individuals who have a passion for our brands and quality wines. The newest member to join our team should be able to lead the commercial sales and marketing division of the company.

The candidate will be responsible to establish, develop and build a network of partner distributors to ensure an increase in sales and brand development throughout. 

Core responsibilities of the Commercial Sales and Marketing Manager: 

- Create, implement and manage the Sales and Marketing strategy of the company 
- Create, implement and manage the Sales and Marketing budget
- Develop market knowledge by doing continuous in-depth market research
- Contribute to intra-group synergies
- Manage staff in the Sales and Marketing department
- Report actual vs budget and implement correct action plans to ensure increase in sales

Experience and qualifications needed: 

- 5 - 7 years experience in sales and marketing environment, preferably within a wine, spirit or beverage company
- Wine industry experience will be beneficial 
- Excellent customer service levels as well as interpersonal skills
- Sound financial background and understanding of financial principles
- Knowledge of key export markets will be advantageous 
- Good presentation skills and the ability to create strong relationships with people on all levels
