The restaurant hostess is the first person to interact with guests as they arrive and enter the restaurant. It is the job of the hostess to greet arriving guests, welcome them into the tasting centre and seat them.
The guests receive their first impression of the restaurant by their exchanges with the hostess.

As the hostess, you must have complete knowledge of all food, wine and experiences that our establishment offers: the ingredients; the preparation; how items are served and with what; know your prices; knowledge of the wine.

Your role will also entail the following but will not be limited to it.
Assisting Restaurant Management with daily admin and operations.
Responsible for general reservations 
Assist with weddings and events

Demonstrate Great CARE, COMMITMENT & CONSISTENCY in all aspects of your position, your team members and our guests

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

High School or Equivalent

Computer Knowledge excel, word, powerpoint 

Minimum 6 months’ work experience as a hostess/front of house, if you worked on a wine farm before it will at points to your application
