Wine Sales And Marketing Representative

A renowned Wine Estate based in the Western Cape is seeking an addition to their Johannesburg team of wine sales and marketing representatives. 


Role Definition:

  • Trade visits to new and existing customers – build customer relationships,
  • Organise and present tastings with the aim of listing new wines – both on-con and off-con,
  • Expand the market, both locally and internationally,
  • Identify, pursue and manage valuable events/festivals/showcase opportunities – create brand awareness,
  • Achieve sale targets and grow sales,
  • Social media marketing – all platforms,
  • Wine deliveries – incorporate these with customer visits,
  • Administration – invoicing, statements, following up on payments etc. and
  • Manage the website and oversee the design of promotional materials and ensure correct representation of the brand (brochures, banners, tasting notes etc).


  • Three years’ experience in Wine Sales and Marketing,
  • Proven sales track record and valuable connections in the trade,
  • Sales driven,
  • Extensive wine knowledge,
  • Excellent administrative skills,
  • Time management skills, and
  • Sound knowledge of exports and logistics.

Salary negotiable depending on experience and skill-set.
