Springfield Estate requires the services of a full time HR Officer in Robertson.

Previous experience on Wine Estates or in the Hospitality industry will be an advantage.

The successful candidate should have a positive attitude and be willing to learn.

The key skills, roles and responsibilities as HR Officer will include the following:

 

  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation
  • Draft & issue contracts that are aligned to SA Legislation
  • Conduct all disciplinary procedures for organisation
  • Manage employee queries
  • Leads the Company Compliance on all government, labour, legal, statutory reporting in terms of Skills Development, Employment Equity, WCA, UIF etc.
  • Ensure compliance to all legislation. Advise and communicate legislation changes
  • Participate in audit procedures
  • To some extent be involved with payroll
  • Present wine tastings when required
  • Give excellent administrative support to staff
  • All other ad-hoc duties as required
  • Excellent Computer skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of EzyWine would be advantageous

 This position will also require you to work one Saturday per month in the tasting room presenting tastings and conducting cellar tours. Own reliable transport and drivers license is crucial.
