Responsibilities:

  • The effective management and operation of a mobile clinic service to farm workers and their families that strengthens the company's business model.
  • Monitoring the health status of employees and their families through an ongoing awareness and testing program.
  • Management of the occupational and primary health program, and improvement of the existing health service to improve the physical, psychological and social well-being of employees.
  • Help to identify, control and mitigate health risks and hazards to employees.
  • The administrative management of the community center and buses for venue hire and site management. The chef, cleaner and caretaker in the center reports to this position.
  • Establish and maintain the necessary legal registrations and accreditations of the clinic.
  • Work in close collaboration with local clinics, doctors, government and other social institutions to build lasting relationships.
  • The position is part of the management team, which includes education, health and community development.
  • A full-time community health care worker as well as a contracted health practitioner will report to this position.

Requirements for the position:

  • Tertiary qualification in healthcare (Nursing) with an additional Primary Health Care (PHC) Qualification
  • Minimum five years’ experience in Occupational Healthcare
  • Appropriate management experience in healthcare.
  • Registered with SANC / HPCSA
  • Experience in clinical evaluation of signs and symptoms of patients.
  • A Valid driver's license
